Sleeping Out So Others Don’t Have To: A Night of Solidarity and Support

At The Wisdom Tree International Foundation, we believe that change begins with empathy. Last night, our chairman, Benji Kushwaha, put that belief into action by participating in the Vinnies CEO Sleepout — giving up comfort for a cause that affects thousands across Australia.

Benji spent the night sleeping on a piece of cardboard under the open sky, alongside hundreds of other business leaders across the country. It was cold, uncomfortable, and confronting — but that was the point. For one night, he experienced a small glimpse of what thousands of Australians face every single day: life without a home.

His participation wasn’t about charity — it was about solidarity. A powerful reminder that housing is a human right, and that awareness must lead to action.

The Wisdom Tree International Foundation also proudly donated to the Vinnies CEO Sleepout, standing with others across the country to support this vital cause. Together, we raised funds and awareness to help provide shelter, safety, and support for those doing it tough.

We can’t end homelessness overnight, but we can take steps — like this — toward a more just and compassionate world.
